How to Find the College of St Barnabas

The College is easily accessible by road and public transport.

We are located immediately west of Dormans station, which is the penultimate stop on the line from London to East Grinstead. Through trains between here and London Victoria leave at half-hourly intervals and the journey takes around 55 minutes. It is also possible to use the London Bridge line by changing at East Croydon.

To reach the College by road from the north:

  • leave the M25 at Junction 6 and head south on the A22 Godstone Bypass towards East Grinstead. Turn east onto the B2029 Ray Lane to Lingfield. In Lingfield, bear left at the first roundabout onto the B2028, then proceed as below;

To reach the College by road from the south:

  • travel north up the A22 and turn east onto the B2028 Newchapel Road to Lingfield. In Lingfield bear right at the first roundabout, continuing on the B2028;

Then:

turn right at the second roundabout in Lingfield, from where the College is signposted, into East Grinstead Road (unclassified). Fork left onto Blackberry Lane and then turn left again at a triangular junction which has a house in the triangle. The entrance to the College is on the left in about ¼ mile after this junction, immediately before the bridge over the railway line.
Within the College grounds, take the first available turning to the right to access the car park in front of the main building.
